PQCC is committed to safety. The safety and wellbeing of all our employees is recognised through company backed VOC of our employees. We have in place job-specific Job Safety Environmental Analysis’s provided by management but completed on-site in the correct environment for the workers to recognise the hazards.
Our workers complete 3rd party training as required for working in Confined Space, Wearing BA, Safe Operation of EWP, Working at Heights, Industry White Cards and any other required competencies needed to perform works in hazardous environments.
The company recognises that Abrasive Blasting and Industrial Spraying is potentially dangerous and as such, we provide all workers with the necessary PPE required to complete projects safely.
A relatively new addition to our equipment are Nova talk radio communications which allows the pot tender to communicate with inside blasters and can help make them aware of possible dangers and allowing better communication between workers.
We have also adopted to vacuum fill our blast units, which helps to eliminate manual handling and possible injuries to workers.
We have developed internal processes to ensure that our workers are operating in a safe environment in addition to our OH&S obligations and requirements for handling toxic materials
